MEMORY FILTER
This installation is comprised of old lace, easel stands and projected home video. The lace curtains act as a screen for the projected video of myself as a young child singing and reading a book. As the image passes through each curtain the projected scene obscures until the light passing through the last lace curtain allows for only fragmented colors to be thrown on to the back wall.
This last stage of the installation is a culmination of the entire process, as the wall acts as a canvas, receiving the abstract composition of shifting colors and shapes.
