10’ long world map for the event single use, disposable. made entirely of fused disposable plastic bags collected from beaches and trash bins throughout the city of Santa Cruz and Capitola. This work highlights the currents of the ocean and concentrates the logos of the bags at each of the 5 Gyres studied for their high concentrations of pollution within the worlds oceans.
