Ascension was made for the Museum of Art and History for the Fire and Glow Arts Festival 2013
The charred wooden stairs were suspended in front of a projected video of the stairs burning. The wooden stairs were hung so that align with the video of the stairs to give the illusion of the stairs burning in real time.
